With consideration for today's trend in re-skilling for better work opportunities, this version of ENTITY Academy presents itself as one that attracts a demographic that places values in community, corporate responsibility, and personal fulfillment. Representing femininity while managing to be taken seriously is a top concern for a company that focuses on providing virtual educational programming to help women achieve their career goals.
The streamlined re-envisioning of their website utilizes the original logo and maintains integrity toward the brand’s already established vision of luxury and elegance while adding an ideal amount of charm to emphasize the sincerity of the company in this interpretation. Crisp, clean, and sophisticated, details are delicately handled to enhance original company images with the women that make ENTITY Academy.
For today’s values-driven consumers, transparency is an important factor for deciding where their support will go. The goal for this project was to maintain interest of the user while providing sufficient information about the program and field of study needed in order to make a sound decision to join.
Striking a balance was the challenge. While eliminating redundancies helped, the many things left to include still needed to be quick and easy to understand. Organizing the logistics in an engaging way took precedence in this rendition, being that it is for a type of education not as commonly understood as a traditional degree program.
ENTITY Academy puts the program offerings at the forefront in this redesign. For this case study, the user flow focuses on a journey that begins with an interest in a particular subject and continues with gathering more information about an individual program that the user may decide to participate in.
This program-centered redesign displays each program as its own operation while maintaining unity, as each one is an integral part of the company. An overarching structure applied across the programs provides the flexibility to include anything that would be unique to a specific program. This builds capacity to include what is necessary on a per-program basis while keeping information organized and comprehensible.
The overall header is condensed to bring more attention to that of the program page itself. While maintaining the capability to navigate to the rest of the website, emphasis to click APPLY is added, and motivation to further explore the program page is preserved. Icons make for a pleasant break from larger chunks of information where such may exist. The page layout is simple and clean with a color palette that includes the general company colors and a specific jewel-toned color with an equivalent tint as assigned to each program. In this case, we have teal.
